Luxury of a Negative Thought

The mind, powerful lense,

Creates current focus,

Becomes a living thing,

a gift to be given,

or a price to be paid,

no luxury here,

of negative thought.

I have that ability, as we all do, to manifest what I believe. I must take care not to be negative because my thoughts solidify at light speed. But, if I am positive, a lot of cool little things happen. Yesterday, I won a small door prize, was treated to a movie, and won some gas money from a scratch ticket. Normally, I would brush these things off as if they meant nothing. Lately, I have been grateful for them.  I know they will turn into more significant things simply because I did notice.

    • Thanks for the feedback. It’s been a life learning experience–being positive–but I’m getting there.

  2. brian is right,
    if you turn negative,
you get out of control of your feelings,

    be cheerful,
    enjoy what you have,
give without thinking about receive, then
    U R Happier…

    I give 50 comment,
    If I receive 5 feedback,
then I count my blessings on that 5,
    and enjoy
    and continue my free offering…

it takes weeks hard work and selfless diligence to
have a dozen friends going steady about U, I refer to blogging.

    Happy Friday.

    • Thanks for your insightful input! I enjoy doing this, and have commented on a lot of other blogs. I have read poetry by some very talented artists. What a great experience. I’m having a blast!

  3. Nice alliteration, killer final couplet. Even more important, the poem managed to be cute and wise at the same time, which is quite impressive.

    • Thank you for your critique. I am positive I didn’t realize I was doing it. It just all came together in the fashion that it did. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I had to write something about negative thoughts manifesting physical reality. If I get into negative mode, crappy things seem to multiply. I had to remind myself of that!
